Wal-Mart is also doing its part to help. The world’s largest retailer donated $1,000,000 to the Salvation Army Monday to be used for disaster relief. You can go to the store’s website at www.walmartstores.com for more information on how you can donate to the Salvation Army.
Or, and you can make your donation in person at any Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club store.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is commandeering the clean up of Katrina’s aftermath, and also has some information on their website about other charities accepting donations on behalf of the victims.
